Say Hello to Dr. Arlene Pimentel

A native of Milford, Dr. Pimentel works diligently to ensure patients get the reliable treatment they need to achieve the straight smile they deserve. She has always loved being able to help others, and being a board-certified orthodontist allows her the opportunity to improve people’s confidence in their pearly whites. On top of connecting with her patients on a personal level, she also feels grateful to work alongside a fantastic team who are just as passionate as she is.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Pimentel first began her education by obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from UMass Amherst. Later, she went on to study at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She practiced general dentistry for seven years before deciding to specialize in orthodontics. Dr. Pimentel moved to Florida so that she could pursue her Master/Certificate in Orthodontics from Jacksonville University.

Today, Dr. Pimentel regularly seeks continuing education to expand her skills and expertise, that way her patients can get the exceptional care they deserve. Furthermore, she is a proud and active member of several professional organizations, including the:

  • American Association of Orthodontists
  • American Board of Orthodontists
  • American Dental Association

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

If you don’t see her in the office helping patients straighten their smiles, Dr. Pimentel is typically spending time with her son and daughter doing outdoor activities, such as going on walks or hiking on trails. Her hobbies involve exercising, practicing yoga, and being with her loved ones. She is also multilingual, as she speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese!
