What Exactly Is Interproximal Reduction?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes abbreviated as \u201cIPR\u201d or \u201cselective reduction,\u201d this treatment is simply used to alter the shape of certain teeth so that future orthodontic treatment can happen correctly. Often, it\u2019s used to create more space between teeth for better alignment and to correct crowding, or to improve a patient\u2019s bite pattern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
